To deepen our roots and widen our reach will take a move of God. Throughout our 90 plus year history, God has done amazing things through the faithfulness of God’s people on the CityRise campuses. But what we are embarking on now is the most ambitious campaign we’ve ever undertaken. If God doesn’t move powerfully, we have every reason to believe that it will fail. But what seems like a huge, ambitious project to us, is nothing to our God.
We’ve put together this campaign and curriculum to share our hearts, teaching, stories, and inspiration so that we can get on the same page with a God who never fails. You’ll find sermon notes, vision, plans and stories here to help you grow in faith, maturity, and excitement for what God is going to do.

Going Deep and Wide
Starts with God
Have you ever been to a party where the food was amazing and it seemed it would never run out? Tim, Ashley, Bradley, and Jeny introduce our Deep & Wide Youth series today with week one and God’s generosity towards us in creation. God made an amazing world and called it “good,” and He created man in His image and gave that good creation to him as a generous gift. God’s desire for us is to understand that His heart is a heart of generosity, and He calls us to be like Him. First we receive His abundance, and then we give generously from an endless supply of His grace.
Going Deep and Wide
Challenges My Trust
In session 2 of our Deep & Wide student series, our team tackles the relationship between mindsets of scarcity and abundance. God is an abundant giver. He has provided a rich table for us to feast, and He called us to learn to think like Him by giving abundantly from what He has given to us. But when we have a scarcity mindset, we think there will never be enough. We don’t want to give, because we are afraid of the lack it will bring to our lives. But the Bible tells that nothing could be further from truth! Check out what our team has to say as they open God’s Word on this topic.
Growing Deep and Wide
Empowers us to Pray Boldly
In session three of the Student Deep & Wide series Tim, Ashley, Jenny, and Bradley discuss God’s generosity in the gift of His Son, Jesus. God gave Jesus, who suffered for us, took on our sin, and died so that we could have eternal life. God gave us this most amazing gift, and He continues to give generously to us every day.
Growing Deep and Wide
Shifts the Heart From No to Yes
The student leaders welcome you back to session 4 of the Deep & Wide Student Series. After a quick recap of what we’ve covered in the first three sessions, Bradley leads a discussion about what to do about all we’ve learned so far in the series. Taking a look at Malachi 3:10-12, the gang talks about tithing and God’s remarkable statement in these verses, “Test me and see if I do not throw open the floodgates of heaven” and bless you!
