This weekend, we will raise the anchor on “Anchored: Holding Fast in the Midst of Cultural Storms” and finish this series learning about worshiping Jesus when the world speaks against Him. I hope you have found this series encouraging, especially as it seems like the world around us is becoming more hostile toward Jesus and us, His followers.
On the topic of standing firm in our faith while also being in the world, Jennifer Dean, the Managing Director of 4th Wall Theatre Company, sat down earlier this year for an episode of The Almost Amazing Podcast. Jennifer talks about life in the theatre world as a Christian and the importance of having a Christian community.

And before we go today, here’s another inside look at what’s happening with the construction inside Crosspoint Church – Bellaire. Can you recognize which areas are pictured below?
Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you on Sunday, Church Family!

Deep & Wide
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8
