Our Flourishing Disciple series kicks off on Sunday, February 19, with “The Call to Grow.” This four-week series will prepare us in the lead-up to the Easter season as we look at the calling and qualities of what it means to be a flourishing disciple of Jesus.
I hope you’re able to be with us on campus. If you are unable to join us in person, you’re welcome to be with us online at one of our livestreamed services at youtube.com/cityriseorg.
Church-Wide Vote this Sunday
If you are on campus for worship this coming Sunday and are an official CityRise member who is eighteen years or older, you will have the privilege of voting on motions regarding our church’s committees and annual budget. This year’s budget proposal and vote are monumental because they will lead us into making the first steps in our Deep & Wide Generosity Initiative: improving our Crosspoint Church – Bellaire and digital campuses.
The video below from last Sunday sums up your faithful giving since we began Deep & Wide last year that has helped us get to this moment and provides details on these first steps. Take a look!
Deep & Wide – Tell Us Your Story!
Don’t forget! We’re eager to hear how God has affected your life through the Deep & Wide Generosity Initiative. Go to cityrise.org/mystory and tell us! We want to share in your joy and maybe even share your story to encourage others. Pray about it, Church Family!
See you on Sunday!

Deep & Wide
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8
